Stony Creek Metro Park

We spent the first two days in Michigan at Hilary and Brian's house in Shelby Township. Just down the street from them, was Srony Creek Park. It was so cold that day, but we bundled up and headed out for a little Michigan fresh air and wilderness.

Hilary and Brian's Wedding

Hilary and Brian's wedding was the big reason for heading to Michigan. Hilary is like my sister! My all time favorite CMU roomie too. I was really happy to be able to spend this time with her and some of my favorite old friends. It was great to meet my good friend Kelly's husband, Tim. I was to prego to go the their wedding. It was especially nice to catch up with Tammy and Kelly.

Happy Halloween

Grandma Debbie labored hard to make Miss Gracie Bug this beautiful Fairy Princess Costume. She should get many more playtime wears out of it!


Josh, Grace and I spent Halloween morning visiting Kathy's (known as Ms. Fisher to the small ones) kindergarten classroom. Grace was pumped about the toys, books, and good times that kindergarten has to offer. She never stopped exploring the classroom. Josh and I also enjoyed the pre-halloween party treats. Thank goodness for parent volunteers!

Grace was able to really show the Grandparents how a toddler can do things up. Between Horsey Parties, Crate Rides, Painting, and Story time, I think my mom and dad must need a vacation themselves.
